"Verified" means something
A story is marked verified only when two or more genuinely independent viewpoints carry it. One wire reprinted five times counts as one perspective, not five.

Every impact read carries a confidence cue tied to how many sources corroborate it. A single-source story can never claim "direct." If a dimension doesn't apply, it says so.
